One fine aircraft, exceptionally well photographed.

I flew UH-1H helicopters out of Fort Richardson, AK, yea many decades ago; the Chinooks I saw were over remarkably different terrain.

Well they are pretty closely related. Both born in Vietnam and still refusing to retire now!
As a result of their upbringing they can handle allot of different terrain. From mountain tops to open water, these things have tried to land on it.

Cars go out of style in a matter of months.  A good airframe sticks around for generations.
